About Denia

Denia (she/her/ella) is a former immigration attorney and current liberation practitioner, storyteller and connector. Although she was a gifted advocate, Denia noticed she felt most alive when she was tending to the political and emotional development and well-being of clients and colleagues. Crafting workshops, planning retreats, and facilitating difficult conversations were unexpected strengths she discovered and has been cultivating over the last 7 years.

Denia has been featured in local and national publications, and received funding from the California Arts Council via the Center for Cultural Power to conduct an oral history project of her family’s migration story. Denia believes that our stories and relationships to each other are sacred—and necessary—to cultivating resility. She looks forward to connecting and co-creating something beautiful together.

When she’s not casting visions of a new world, you can find her dancing, wandering through various NYC neighborhoods, gazing at the moon, and spending time with her loved ones.
